A user asked: Can we add Folders/Tagging to our transfers.
- Upload files for storage without transferring them.
- Store files in Folder A/Subfolder/Subfolder
Similar to Dropbox and One Drive -- How can we differentiate our product from others, how can we make this better then than similar applications?

Ability to share out the files on different domains of the each particular project. And Folder Management for drag and drop arrange the files and folders for not to be messed up at the back end dashboard.

I love this idea, but want to see about being able to change/edit the name for, instead of it saying the message I left for the person I sent a request to. Should be a simple feature to add, thanks.

I'm also interested in this feature, and it's the only thing holding me back from purchasing Sinosend. I run a website where I share download links for various digital products. I understand that Sinosend focuses more on sharing documents with team members or clients, but I think it could also meet my needs.
Currently, I use Luckycloud to share the download links, but I prefer Sinosend because of the custom domain, the tracking feature (although I'm unsure if it's fully GDPR compliant), the very generous lifetime deal, and likely much more.
What I really need is:
- The ability to create folders and share them via a link (rather than sending them via email).
- Direct download links for single files and folders, e.g., I link the product on my website, the user clicks on the download button, and it starts to download without redirecting to the Sinosend page.
- Update the file without recreating the shareable link.
- Update or add content in the folder without recreating the shareable link.
P.s. the custom domain makes it for me already better then One Drive, Dropbox, etc.

Laura: Hi Lara, Sorry wanted to update this reply to your post, would like your feedback.
1) We've settled on tagging Transfers, not individual files. This means when you create a Transfer, it is tagged so you can filter/organize it better, similar to folders, but perhaps more flexible.
Creation of folders means that you store files outside of Transfers, which isn't something we are supporting (Google Drive, Dropbox etc)
2+) Direct Download Links -- I understand how this might be important - However with this you loose out on analytics and geographic data of the user/download. This method also opens up your public link for abuse. Example, if you upload 100 files each 100MB each, how does the direct download link work, does it download them all in a Zip? What happens if the user only wants to download a few of those files --
3,4) Update a file without recreation - Is now possible ✅
